The 4‑minute porn self‑check.
This is a private self-check for men who want to know where they stand with porn. It is built on the PPCS-6, a six-question screener developed and validated by researchers (Bőthe et al., 2020), plus a few questions about when the pull is strongest and what you have already tried. At the end you see your result and a personal plan. It is a screen, not a diagnosis.
What does it measure?
Six things researchers look at: how much headspace porn takes, whether you use it to change your mood, whether it causes conflict in your life, whether you need more over time, whether you go back after deciding to stop, and how you feel when you cannot watch. How often you watch is not one of them.
Is this a porn addiction test?
Many people search for one. No questionnaire can tell you that you are addicted, and "porn addiction" is not a formal diagnosis. What this self-check can show is how much control you feel you have, and how your answers compare with the cut-off researchers use for problematic use. Read more on the science page.
What happens with my answers?
You must be 18 or older. You see your result before we ask for anything. If you then choose to join the waitlist, your answers are stored encrypted in the EU. The details are in the privacy notice.
